Master Swimming consists of categories divided into 5 age groups (25-29|30-34|35-39|….) that individuals over the age of 25 can do for life. Competitive master swimmer competitions are organized by grouping women and men in their own groups. Every year 2-3 different competitions are organized in different cities in Turkey. At Frekans Swimming School, our Master Swimming program is specifically designed to improve the swimming performance and overall health of individuals.

Master swimming is a sports program for adults designed to improve swimming skills and increase physical fitness. Anyone aged 25 and over with different levels of swimming knowledge can participate in this program.

Description. Master swimming is suitable for both beginners and experienced swimmers. The programs are tailored to the level of the participant and offer a special learning and development environment for everyone.

Workouts usually last between 60-90 minutes. The duration can vary depending on the participants’ goals, swimming level and training program.

No. There is no obligation to compete in competitions to participate in the masters swimming program. However, participants can compete as an individual or as a team in local, national or international competitions.

  • As it is a low-impact sport, it reduces stress on joints and muscles.
  • It increases cardiovascular endurance and improves overall body resistance.
  • Reduces stress and provides mental relaxation.
  • Improves body posture and increases flexibility.

Basically, your swimsuit, swimming goggles and a pool cap are enough. More advanced participants can also use equipment such as a pull buoy, flippers or hand fins during training.
